In August 2020, Britannia Hotel was named Marketer of the Year 2019 at the Marketing Conference in Trondheim — receiving the Robert Millar Prize, Trondheim Marketing Association's highest distinction for marketing.
The jury highlighted the consistent thread throughout a cohesive and detailed strategy, co-branding with heritage partners, and an alignment between ambitions and results that the jury described as exceptionally strong. The award was given in strong competition with Røros Bryggeri og Mineralvann and HUNT (the Trøndelag Health Study).
Nonspace — at the time operating under the name Anti — was responsible for brand strategy, identity system, and communication from the start in 2017 through to the opening on 1 April 2019. The work is documented in our Insight: Building Five Stars with Nothing to Show.
