Museum Weekends

Museum Vest wanted to position itself as a weekend destination for families, a place where history becomes something children can see, touch and wonder about. Together, we developed Helg på museet ("Weekend at the Museum"), a campaign designed to spark curiosity, imagination and pride in the region’s cultural heritage.

Through playful storytelling and short films featuring The Innovator, The Captain and The Explorer, we invited families to experience history not as something past, but as something living and shared.

For many, museums feel like quiet, grown-up spaces. The challenge was to shift that perception and show that learning about the past can be active, tactile and full of discovery for children and parents alike.

We created a social-first brand campaign across Meta and Instagram, blending cinematic storytelling, real historic artworks and a sense of wonder. The message "For children’s big questions and the great ideas of tomorrow" positioned Museum Vest as a place for connection, creativity and reflection, where families can learn from the past to understand the present and imagine the future.
